Before you start
- Fume extractor on whenever the iron is hot.
- Iron back in the stand every time it leaves your hand. Turn it off when you leave the seat.
Quick reference
- Tin the tip before and after use.
- Sponge/brass wool to clean, not files or sandpaper.
- Burns: cold running water, then tell someone. First aid kit is in the lab.
